Halifax Fire Department - Call Firefighters/EMTs
The Halifax Fire Department is accepting applications for paid on-call firefighters, firefighter/EMTs and firefighter/paramedics. Applications may be picked up at the Halifax Fire Department, 438 Plymouth Street, Halifax, MA 02338 from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday or may be downloaded (Word document). Job descriptions and further details provided upon completion of the application. Applicants are required to reside within five (5) miles of the Fire Station.
Public Safety Dispatchers
The Halifax Communications Committee is accepting applications for public safety dispatchers. A job description (pdf file) is available. Applications may be obtained at the Halifax Water Department office at 500 Plymouth Street and the town website, www.town.halifax.ma.us Applicants are required to submit a resume with their application. The Town of Halifax is an EEO employer and encourages anyone interested to apply. Salary range is $15.46 - $18.11 per hour. Applications accepted on a continuous basis.
